National Origins Act 1920's
Immigration In 1924, The amount of immigrants allowed into America was swiftly cut down by a new act.
This was known as the Immigration Act. Coming out of the Great War, things started to change
for Americans. It was the Age of Flappers, Jazz, and bootlegging. America was becoming more
free, and as a result of that freedom, a little more self-centered. It seemed as if some outside
force had given them the right to speak freely as a whole, instead of thinking for themselves and others.

Many of these people were finding themselves more jealous, and as part of that jealousy, less giving to the
needy and less caring for each other. When it came time to talk about immigration, the people found themselves
a little angry(if you will) with the thought of taking so many people in to this Nation. They wanted the doors of
America to close It's open arms.
Americans didn't want to share the American Dream with people that belonged to other countries

Its Easy To Get Hurt In The Dark

If there's one part of you
that I'd like to see
deep in your heart
is where I want to be.
Help you light up your world
let you be free.

There is one thing
that I'd like to say
and I've been feeling this way
since the first day.
There's no point in a lock
with out a key.
Take this advice, baby
take it from me.

Its easy to get hurt in the dark,
but its a journey I wish to embark.
Just let me in,
Let love begin
I just want to be part of your heart.
